Deportivo La Coruna will participate in a pre-season in Italy or England. The club's idea is to make a small tour of a week abroad. They are already looking for possible opponents and the dates would be late July or early August. Deportivo La Coruna is working on its return to La Liga after eight years and one of the aspects to be solved is the design of the pre-season. The club has set July 6 as the most likely day for the return to training after five weeks of vacation. As is customary, the first opponents will be of lower category and the level will be progressive according to the physical preparation. In this sense, the idea is to make a small tour of a week abroad with two friendly matches as the central point. The club has already started contacts to search for the place where this mini concentration will take place with two points on the table: England or Italy. The first point, and what will determine the place where this phase of the pre-season will take place, is to find the suitable opponents for that moment of the preparation. Depending on these negotiations with other clubs, Depor will decide to travel to Italy or the United Kingdom. The most likely dates for this European tour will be late July and early August, pending the day of the start of LaLiga, set for now on the weekend of August 15 and 16. The other known appointment is the last friendly match before the competition starts, which will be the Teresa Herrera. The rival of this edition will be Real Madrid and will take place on August 11 or 12. Making part of the pre-season abroad is not new and the pupils of Antonio Hidalgo already did it last summer. In that occasion the destination was England, where they stayed from July 29 to August 2, disputing two friendly matches. The opponents then were two teams from the Championship, the equivalent to the Second Spanish. The blanquiazules faced then Watford (1-0) and Middlesbrough (2-2).
