The Spanish national team chose Riazor as their last stop in national territory before heading to the World Cup and the fans responded with a day of football, red shirts, autographs, bagpipes and festive atmosphere. The expedition arrived at Alvedro airport on Thursday around 13:30 hours, with a slight delay from the scheduled time, and then moved to the Hotel Attica21 in Matogrande. There were over a hundred fans waiting, many of them children, who received the players and coaching staff with applause. Luis de la Fuente was one of the first to get off the bus, followed by players like Laporte, Ferran Torres, Yeremy Pino or Eric García. Some players, like Cucurella, Mikel Merino, Dani Olmo or the Galician Borja Iglesias, stopped to sign autographs and take photos with the fans. Others, like Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams, quickly entered the hotel, but were also received with cheers and applause.
